Terms of Service

1. General

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the sakuraresto.ee website and all related services operated by Bertrand OÜ ("we", "us", "our"), registered in Tallinn, Estonia. By accessing or using our website — including browsing the menu, placing orders, making reservations, or creating an account — you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue your use of our services immediately.

2. Definitions

  • "Website" refers to sakuraresto.ee and all its subpages, including the ordering platform and reservation system.
  • "Services" refers to all services available through the Website, including online ordering, table reservations, banquet bookings, and menu browsing.
  • "User" or "you" refers to any person who accesses or uses the Website.
  • "Order" refers to a request to purchase food items through our online ordering system for pickup at one of our restaurant locations.
  • "Reservation" refers to a booking for a table or banquet event at one of our restaurant locations.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order or make a reservation through our Website. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you may browse the Website but may not place orders or make reservations without the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Restaurant Locations

Sakura Resto operates multiple restaurant locations in Tallinn, Estonia. Services, menus, availability, and operating hours may vary between locations. When placing an order or making a reservation, you must select the specific location at which you wish to dine or collect your order. It is your responsibility to ensure you have selected the correct location.

5. Online Ordering

5.1 Placing an Order

  • Orders placed through our Website may be collected from the restaurant or, where delivery is offered for the chosen location, brought to you by a courier. Section 5.4 sets out the terms that apply to delivery.
  • When placing an order, you must provide your name, phone number, and preferred pickup time. You confirm that this information is accurate and complete.
  • An order is considered confirmed once you have completed the payment process and received an on-screen confirmation. We will use the phone number you provided to contact you if necessary.

5.2 Pickup Times

  • You may choose to pick up your order as soon as possible ("ASAP") or schedule a specific pickup time.
  • Estimated preparation times are approximate and may vary depending on order volume and kitchen capacity.
  • Orders must be collected at the selected restaurant location within 30 minutes of the confirmed pickup time. Orders not collected within this window may be disposed of without refund.

5.3 Order Notes

You may include special instructions or notes with your order (up to 500 characters). While we make every effort to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee that all special instructions can be fulfilled.

5.4 Delivery

  • Delivery is carried out on our behalf by an independent courier company, Wolt. When you place a delivery order, your name, phone number and delivery address are passed to them so that a courier can reach you, and they provide the tracking page linked from your order confirmation.
  • You must select your address from the suggestions offered at checkout. An address that has not been selected from the list cannot be given to a courier, and the order cannot be placed for delivery.
  • Delivery is available only within the area served from the chosen restaurant location, only while that restaurant is open, and only for orders up to the value shown at checkout. If any of these is not met, the checkout will say so and offer collection instead.
  • Alcoholic beverages cannot be delivered. An order containing them is available for collection at the restaurant only.
  • Estimated delivery times shown at checkout and on the tracking page are the courier's estimates and are not guaranteed.
  • Please be reachable at the phone number you provided and at the delivery address around the estimated arrival time. If you cannot be reached, the courier waits five minutes from the delivery time shown on the tracking page and attempts to reach you with two phone calls; after that the delivery is cancelled. Prepared food cannot be sold again, so a cancelled delivery is not returned to the restaurant.
  • An order whose delivery was cancelled because you could not be reached is not refunded automatically — our support reviews each case individually. Where operationally possible, we may offer a repeat delivery for an additional charge. Delivery support: +372 5486 0852, info@sakuraresto.ee.

6. Pricing, Deals & Payment

6.1 Pricing

  • All prices on the Website are displayed in euros (€) and include applicable VAT.
  • Prices may vary between restaurant locations and are subject to change without prior notice.
  • We make every effort to ensure pricing accuracy. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

6.2 Promotional Deals

  • From time to time, we may offer promotional deals and discounts on selected menu items through our Website.
  • Deals are subject to availability, have specific validity periods, and may apply only to certain menu items or locations.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw any deal at any time without prior notice.
  • Deals cannot be combined with other offers or promotions unless explicitly stated.

6.3 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Bank Link — direct bank transfer via Estonian banks (Swedbank, SEB, LHV, Luminor, Coop Pank, Pocopay)
  • Card payments — Visa, Mastercard, and other major credit/debit cards
  • Digital wallets — Apple Pay, Google Pay

Payment is required at the time of placing the order. Your order will not be processed until payment is successfully completed.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

  • Orders may be cancelled free of charge before preparation has begun. Once preparation starts, cancellation is no longer possible.
  • To cancel an order, contact the restaurant directly by phone as soon as possible.
  • If a cancellation is approved, refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.
  • If you receive an incorrect or damaged order, please contact us immediately. We will either replace the order or issue a full refund at our discretion.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a refund if we reasonably believe the complaint is fraudulent or unjustified.

8. Table Reservations

  • Table reservations can be made through our Website for a specific date, time, and number of guests at your chosen restaurant location.
  • Reservations are subject to availability and will be confirmed via email to the address you provide.
  • When making a reservation, you must provide your name, email address, phone number, and the number of guests. You may also include special requests.
  • We kindly ask that you cancel or modify your reservation at least 2 hours in advance by contacting the restaurant or using the cancellation link in your confirmation email.
  • Reserved tables are held for 15 minutes past the booked time. If you have not arrived within this period, the reservation may be released to other guests.
  • Repeated no-shows may result in your ability to make future online reservations being restricted.
  • For parties exceeding our standard table capacity, please use our banquet reservation feature or contact us directly.

9. Banquet Reservations

  • Banquet reservations are available for larger parties and special events. Additional information such as event type and guest count may be required.
  • Banquet bookings may be subject to minimum spend requirements and separate terms communicated during the booking process.
  • Cancellation of banquet reservations may incur a cancellation fee depending on the notice period:
    • More than 48 hours before the event — no fee
    • 24–48 hours before the event — up to 50% of the agreed minimum spend
    • Less than 24 hours — up to 100% of the agreed minimum spend
  • Specific terms and conditions will be confirmed via email upon booking.

10. Menu Information

  • Menu items, descriptions, images, and prices on our Website are for informational purposes and may differ from what is available in-restaurant at any given time.
  • We make every effort to keep the Website up to date, but reserve the right to correct errors, update pricing, and modify the menu without prior notice.
  • Food images are illustrative and may not represent the exact appearance of the dish served.
  • Allergen information: Any allergen or dietary information provided on the Website is for guidance only. If you have food allergies, intolerances, or dietary restrictions, it is essential that you inform the restaurant directly before placing your order.
  • We are not liable for any adverse reactions resulting from the consumption of our food where the customer has failed to inform us of their allergies or dietary needs.

11. Website Use

  • You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of, the Website by any third party.
  • You may not use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access, scrape, or interact with the Website without our prior written consent.
  • We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Website for any user who violates these Terms or engages in abusive behavior toward our staff or other users.
  • The Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and may perform maintenance at any time.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including but not limited to text, images, photographs, logos, graphics, design elements, and software — is the property of Bertrand OÜ or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
